Over the next couple of weeks and some of the weeks that have already past I have been trying out for high school cheer! Trying out for high school cheer leading has been such a nervous thing!
You you don't like cheer leading as much as me you probably wouldn't have started crying (kind of) in the middle of you tumbling try-outs (April 7)! When they called my number (4 which is a number you don't want if your freshmen trying out for HS cheer!) my heart just about pounded right out of my chest! When you got up in front of the judges (coaches) you get so scared! The first thing you have to do is do the splits, which isn't a big deal for me because I can do them! After the splits you have to show you front or back walkover ( i did front). Finally, you show them your running and standing pass! For my standing I did a front walkover, cartwheel, round-off! I decided to do that because I was so scared to throw my back handspring! See the thing is, I landed my back handspring (bhs) the day before tumbling try-outs! So if i were to try that by myself, i was afraid i was going to fall flat in front of my face in front of all those girls, including the coaches! If I did a bhs, I would've only got 5 pts., so by me doing the front walkover, cartwheel, round-off i got 6 pts. from that, so i
guess thats ok...In the upcoming weeks I still have to do stunt try-outs and the regular cheer try-outs! So i'll let you guys know if I make it or not! Please keep your fingures crossed!
Has anyone seen "The Last Song"? It's ah-maizing!!! I loved that movie! I recommend on seeing that, but it might be to late for some because it might be to late for some, because it might not be in theaters anymore (for some).
